Capcom announced yesterday that Monster Hunter Wilds will be getting a hotfix today, which aims to address more existing bugs and issues in the game. This may be exciting news for players who accidentally created a bald and eyebrowless hunter character.
Capcom has announced some of the content that will be fixed in this patch. For example, players may sometimes encounter situations where they cannot re-execute the Bubble Fox mission, which will be resolved soon. In addition, the problem that Fey Cat will not ride a Swift Dragon in certain scenes that require the advancement of the plot will also be fixed soon.
The developer also noted that if a hunter has certain gear equipped, the game may crash at startup, such as during the initialization of the network.
While the developer didn't specify what these specific gear were, this is very similar to an issue reported by Automaton not long ago: if the player saves the game with a bald and eyebrowless character, and is wearing the Guild Knights set from the pre-order bonus, the game will crash when trying to load the game (specifically during the initialization of the network interface).
This is indeed a rather weird issue, and while it affects a relatively small group of players, it is unfortunate for those who encounter this problem. Hopefully, with the release of this patch, bald and eyebrowless hunters will be able to wear whatever gear they like.
